Accommodation

At Dønnes Gård, every room is unique - you can stay in "the red room", "the flower room" or one of the other cozy rooms in the main house. Welcome to charming and comfortable accommodation in historical surroundings.

Main building

The main farm house, which is also our family home, was restored in 1894 after a big fire in 1892. The house is large (200m2) and occupies two levels and a spacious attic. The interior of the house has recently been restored and the exterior of the house is currently being restored. We occupy just less than half the house and we offer the following accommodation in the remainder.

Bathroom with shower

All rooms have access to a spacious bathroom on an other floor with a toilet and shower. The bathroom is panelled and painted in a traditional blue colour. Furthermore, there is an extra toilet and a large hallway with seating. The hallway is timber clad and painted in English Red.

The old school-house

The "school house" is located just off the courtyard of Dønnes Gård and has recently been restored for rental purposes. Here we have 4 nice rooms with double beds (which can be shared) on the ground floor, as well as a large shared bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also access to the washing machine on the ground floor. In this building you also have access to a kitchenette with table and chairs.
